GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Graduation Requirements

Standard Diploma:

Students seeking a Standard Diploma have to earn at least 16 credits in the subjects listed below. This is the minimum amount of credits a student can earn for Equip to issue a diploma. The Standard Diploma is designed for students that want to attend a community college or join the workforce after graduation.

Notes:

• Service hours recommended, but not required
• Our staff will work with you on personalizing your plan to the student’s needs and goals

College Prepatory Diploma:

Equip’s College Preparatory Diploma is designed for students who wish to attend a four-year college or University after graduation. This path requires students to complete at least 30 cummulative hours of community service within their 4 high school years.

Notes:

• A minimum of 30 community service hours must be completed and submitted for verification to ensure a diploma may be issued.
• Service hours may be applied towards the elective credit requirement according to Equip’s Service Hours Policy.
• Our staff will work with you on personalizing your plan to the students needs and goals.

Honors Diploma:

Eqiup’s Honors Diploma is designed for advanced students who are seeking a challenge. The Honors Diploma requires students to take a minimum of 6 Honors or AP level courses, complete at least 50 cummulative hours of community service, and maintain a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.

Notes:

• Complete 6 credits of Honors or AP level courses
• A minimum of 50 community service hours must be completed and submitted for verification prior to graduation.
• Service hours may be applied towards the elective credit requirement according to Equip’s Service Hours Policy.
• Maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Our staff will work with you on personalizing your plan to the students needs and goals.
